Luceplan was set up with the object of creating and producing interior and exterior lighting and to enhance the quality of living. Energy saving is therefore a top priority and cannot be confined to the ratio of lighting to energy consumption: it must embrace the environmental compatibility of our whole operation from choice of materials to the manufacturing process, from product durability to product maintenance. Luceplan believes if an light fixture is to last, it needs to be beautiful as well as technologically sound. But a long-lasting product also offers better environmental compatibility and it outlives fashions.

An instant modern classic since it was introduced in 1985. I love the Berenice's flexibility and choice of two different sizes of desk lamps, along with both floor and wall versions. The shade can be ordered in glass in either green or blue, making for an interesting pop of color. The original halogen model is very bright, but those interested in LED also have a viable option. The Berenice is well-suited for desk or bedside applications.

Very high quality. I have seen a few imitations around, but they definitely don't come close to the real thing. This is a great lamp. Nice looking light with a really focused beam that gives me enough light where I need it and none where I don't. I have to say I'm very imprerssed!
